Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of how you think about it.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
